Creative & determined - A strong team is the engine for success

What we stand for

USE-Ing. (pronounced like the English word "using") embodies leading expertise in the fields of Human Factors and Usability Engineering. By leveraging the individual strengths and skills of our interdisciplinary team members, we make this expertise actionable and meaningful.
The brand name highlights our commitment to incorporating representative users and their interactions with various technical products within their specific contexts of use into product development. Our scientific foundation enables us to integrate the latest advancements in human-machine interaction research into contemporary industrial practices.

Our History

Founded in 2017 as a spin-off from the "Technical Design" research and teaching area at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, USE-Ing. was propelled by the significant industrial need to include representative users in the product development process. Today, USE-Ing. effectively supports companies in the medical technology, software engineering and mechanical engineering sectors in the human-centered technical development of interactive systems.
